The subject matter taught in the Master programme combines the skills from a range of disciplines:
- Engineering & product management
- Electrochemistry, process thermodynamics and technology
- Management and law.
In their mandatory electives and research project, students can choose their own individual specialisations, for example:
- Production/Manufacturing engineering and energy management
- System development for applications in stationary and mobile systems
- Business management - finance and financial control
- Entrepreneurship and sustainability.
Students are taught scientific working practices and how to apply the latest engineering methods as part of research projects. These are undertaken in industrial companies or at the Institute for Sustainable Energy Technology and Mobility (INEM) at Esslingen.
