In the CHE Ranking 2020, WNB belongs to the top group in the areas of "international orientation", "contact to professional practice", "graduation in a reasonable time" and "support at the beginning of your studies".

The results of the university ranking of the Center for University Development (CHE) have been published in the new ZEIT study guide 2020/21. It is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in German-speaking countries.

The CHE has examined more than 300 universities and technical colleges / University of Applied Sciences.
In addition to features and facts about studying, teaching and research, the ranking primarily includes students' judgments about the study conditions at their university. Every year a third of the subjects are reassessed.

Under TOP 10 position nationally

In the German national ranking compiled by Wirtschaftswoche magazine, the Engineering Management degree programme at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences was ranked under the TOP 10.

The assessments for the Wirtschaftswoche university ranking are based on information provided by 540 personnel managers in medium-size and large companies across Germany, who select from a list those universities and universities of applied sciences which best fulfil their expectations. The respondents may nominate several universities for each discipline. The strong emphasis on practical relevance means the ranking focuses on disciplines of interest to industry, such as Engineering Management.
