Module Catalogue Automotive Systems (B.Eng.) (German Version)

Technical specialist or manager working:

  • on the development of electronic and software-intensive automotive systems such as those for autonomous driving, networked vehicles and electric vehicles
  • on experiments with and the testing of new automotive systems - in virtual simulation environments and in the vehicle
  • on the development and testing of new mobility concepts
  • at vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. 

 

High-quality, practice-oriented teaching

The faculty of Mobility and Technology works in close collaboration with the automotive industry and its suppliers to train students to become competent and team-oriented engineers who are distinguished by their excellent technical know-how, their methodological and social skills, and their management abilities. The course content is application oriented and of practical relevance and students are taught in modern laboratories.

The Automotive Systems degree programme not only teaches students the theoretical foundations but also focuses on topics of relevance for electronic vehicle control systems and the burgeoning vehicle electrification and digitalisation. The pioneering Bachelor degree in Automotive Systems is the best possible preparation you could have for the new challenges facing the automotive sector and the job market.

Leading companies in the automotive industry such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Bosch and Porsche support the teaching through guest lectures, laboratory experiments and funding programmes for junior engineers.

Excellent opportunities to gain experience abroad

You can gain international experience by doing an internship abroad or by studying abroad at one of our 78 partner universities.

You can obtain a Bachelor of Engineering double degree at the Chinese-German University of Applied Sciences (CDHAW) at Tongji University in Shanghai.

This experience abroad enhances our graduates’ already excellent career prospects even more.
