General Information
Learn to shape a sustainable future
Climate change and the transition to renewable energies are increasingly forcing our society to tackle the enormous challenge of treating our environment responsibly and with greater awareness.
As a building services engineer, you also can play your part in finding resource-saving and practical solutions for our daily life.
During your studies, you will acquire a broad spectrum of engineering knowledge on energy supply, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology. You will learn about methods of control technology and building automation for the energy-optimised operation of installations, and apply them to practical scenarios. You will conduct fascinating experiments in outstandingly well-equipped laboratories. You will make a sustainable contribution to preparing future generations for the challenges which exist: modules on the theory of education in professional training prepare you for your first teaching placements as a vocational college teacher.
Continuing education after the bachelor
Are you not sure which career path to follow? Don’t worry! You don’t have to decide whether you prefer teaching or industry until you have completed your Bachelor programme!
Your Bachelor’s degree entitles you to continue your studies with a Master programme in engineering or education theory.
Would you like to pass on your passion for engineering? Further information on training to teach at vocational colleges can be found at #LIEBERLEHRAMT.
