Biotechnology, chemical engineering, energy and building services management, physics and environmental engineering - these are the disciplines in the Faculty of Science, Energy and Building Services. They focus on improving the quality of life in our modern society, either by creating a comfortable environment at home or at work, or by further developing a sustainable energy supply, developing modern colour and coating systems, performing analytical measurements with high-resolution microscopes, or investigating biotechnology production processes.

Our Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Buildings Services, Energy and Environmental Engineering and Engineering Education Building Services Engineering Bachelor degree programmes are characterised by their high level of practical relevance and their very distinct application-oriented approach. Esslingen graduates are highly sought-after specialists on the job market, and our numerous collaborations ensure our students work closely with prestigious companies even while they are still studying. The skills they learn can then be enhanced further in our five Master degree programmes.
