International projects

Since 2001, the Baden-Württemberg Foundation has been supporting the international exchange of students and young professionals by awarding the Baden-Württemberg STIPENDIUM.

PROMOS is a program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) financed with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Science (BMBF). Its aim is to support the international mobility by giving grants to outgoing students of German institutions of higher education.

Students of Hochschule Esslingen who are planning a study abroad semester may apply through the Internation Office. More information

It is not possible to apply directly through the DAAD.

EUGEN AND IRMGARD HAHN FOUNDATION

For more than 50 years, the Eugen and Irmgard Hahn Foundation has been supporting a wide variety of projects through annual allocations.

The foundation

The Eugen and Irmgard Hahn Foundation was founded by Senator e.h. Eugen C. Hahn and his wife Irmgard in 1968. The foundation is the main shareholder of INDEX-Werke GmbH & Co. KG Hahn & Tessky and indirectly holds 85% of the company shares. The INDEX Group, managed by INDEX-Werke, is today one of the largest independent lathe manufacturers in the world.

Esslingen University of Applied Sciences uses the funds to award scholarships for study-related stays abroad of students on Bachelor's or Master's degree.

The scholarships can be granted for study semesters and internship semesters as well as for short-term stays (e.g. language courses and summer schools) from a stay of 2 weeks. The scholarships are intended to cover the increased financial expenses of realizing a study-related stay abroad.
