Institute for Health Care and Nursing Sciences (IGP) The IGP at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences

The Institute for Health Care and Nursing Sciences (IGP) was established at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences in summer semester 2018. The Institute for Health Care and Nursing Sciences was established here because this is the administrative seat of the Bachelor programme in nursing, a primary qualification offered in a joint venture with the Faculty of Medicine at Eberhard Karl University Tübingen and University Hospital Tübingen as of the winter semester 2018/2019. Apart from offering a range of joint courses, the objective is to enhance research and teaching in health and nursing care at all locations. This is achieved by way of joint appointments, joint applications for research projects, and joint academic publications, for example.
